Free choice of
Farm Fresh Veggies
Our CSA model is unique. While most farms divvy up the goods they grow into boxes for subscribers, we offer our CSA members the opportunity to pick and choose from the available harvest each week.
The season runs approximately 25 weeks, late May through October. A $300 buy in allows you to spend $12/week if you order every single week. Most of our veggies cost $3 each (some more, some less). So $12/week gets you approximately 4 items. However, you can choose to order whenever you like; you could choose to spend $50 one week and none the next. There is no requirement to order every week and no cap on how much you can order in 1 week.
Pick Up Locations:
- Wallingford - located near 40th and Eastern. Friday pick up
- Central District - located near 20th and Jackson. Tuesday pick up
- Seattle Bouldering Project - Rainier Ave location. Tuesday pick up
- Mt. Baker - located near Hanford and 36th. Tuesday pick up
- On the farm in North Bend - 9905 428th ave SE. Tuesday pick up
Freedom of choice instead of a weekly box. Our members pre-pay for their share at the beginning of the season, then use this money as a “debit account" to custom order their veggies each week. Plus, you get the warm fuzzy feelings that come with supporting your local farmers!
We are expanding our CSA! We are adding a Mt. Baker location this season. Bringing you more options for pickup locations throughout Seattle: Mt. Baker (new!), Wallingford, Central District, and Seattle Bouldering Project.
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. The CSA model allows the subscribing customer an opportunity to support a farm by purchasing a member share at the beginning of the farming season. This is when many of the expenses come up for the farm, such as seeds and soil amendments. Then, throughout the season, the CSA member receives a weekly share in the delicious bounty produced by the farm.
